EMS Professionals in Southern California working for Ambuserve Ambulance have voted to join NEMSA seeking the strong representation and strong contracts NEMSA has achieved for its members across the U.S.A.  Los Angeles Area EMS Professionals came out in big numbers and voted to be represented by NEMSA seeking to improve their wages, benefits, and working conditions.  NEMSA contracts set the standard for EMS Professionals around the nation, which an overwhelming number of EMS and Labor Professionals attribute to NEMSA being exclusive to EMS and NEMSA's EMS only focus.

“Ambuserve employees stood strong and let their employer know that they wanted fair treatment.  Even when Ambuserve management filed unwarranted challenges to delay NEMSA's certification, employees stood strong and together.  Now that NEMSA has been officially certified, we are ready to hit the ground running and look forward to working with these enthusiastic new members" stated Shelly Hudelson, NEMSA Labor Relations Reprentative.
