How to join NEMSA
Why is NEMSA The Answer?

Because NEMSA is different.  NEMSA prides itself on aggressive and fair representation of our members.  With our 100% EMS focus and labor attorney negotiated contracts, NEMSA has become the premier EMS Labor Union.  Our not-for-profit status prohibits any political activity that is not related to EMS.  We are not affiliated with any larger union body or “umbrella” union and pay no affiliation fees.  Dues are kept low and due to stringent requirements, finances audited yearly.  On average, 98% of union dues received by NEMSA go DIRECTLY back to the members in the form of superior union representation, contract negotiation and enforcement.

NEMSA is controlled by and led by the members.  Local bargaining units have local leadership.  All officers and members of the board of directors are NEMSA members elected by other NEMSA members.

NEMSA has hired the best labor attorneys in the USA to negotiate contracts and train staff and shop stewards.  NEMSA hires talented staff to support bargaining units.  Most importantly, NEMSA understands that the most important element to success is the support of the members.  A unified workforce can change their working conditions for the better.  NEMSA promotes unity in a way that no other union can... true strength in numbers... EMS numbers!
