The heart of NEMSAs Strength through Service motto is our ability to direct Association funds to, and in support of local humanitarian causes.

NEMSA supports the work of local charities such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the United Way, Toys for Tots, various Abused Women and Children shelters, and more.

We are paramedics, EMT’s, Dispatchers, and ancillary services who believe that helping people does not stop when we are off the clock. We care about our communities, and strive to strengthen our ties to our communities by being actively involved in the work of these causes.

NEMSA was on hand volunteering at the Twilight Walk For Wishes which helped raise over $350,000 so Make-A-Wish could grant wished to terminally ill children.

NEMSA is involved with the American Stroke Association, a division of the American Cancer Society.
